Breakfast is one of our favorite meals.
We also have a particular fondness for pancakes around here. The other day, we talked about protein powder for protein shakes and smoothies. But the truth is protein powder is highly versatile and can be incorporated into many recipes.
One of our favorite ways to get an added boost in the morning and jumpstart our day is with protein pancakes.
Oats and Protein Pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw oats
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons preferred sweetener
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients and blend until combined into batter
- Then pour onto a hot grill and cook like a normal pancake.
- Serve with your preferred topping – syrup and butter, fresh fruit and honey, or your some walnuts!
