Let’s face it: trail mix is probably the greatest snack idea in the entire world. There are infinite ways you can customize an ordinary bowl of nuts to suit your personal taste, mess around with seasonings to get just the right pop of flavor and enjoy them on-the-go.

So, whether you’re looking go make the most of your , or just want something to nosh on while sitting in the car or for your mid-afternoon pick-me-up at your desk (though admittedly “car mix” and “office mix” don’t sound as nice as “trail mix”), try out one of these awesome trail mix recipes below!

For Those Who… Like it Hot

Is there ever a time when Cajun-inspired anything wasn’t delicious?

With this seasoning combination: Himalayan Pink Salt, Garlic Powder, Chili Powder, Ground Cumin, Cayenne Pepper

If you’re feeling ambitious, try adding some: Chopped Ginger… hello, spice!

For Those Who… Like it Sweet

This a perfect mix to have all year round but is certainly an autumn-inspired mix!

Try these nuts & seeds: Pecans, Walnuts, Pumpkin Seeds

Throw in a little of these: Raisins, Cranberries

With this seasoning combination: Cinnamon, Nutmeg

If you’re feeling ambitious, try adding some: Maple syrup, just a touch is enough!
