What is Stinging Nettle?
Stinging Nettle or Urtica Dioica is an herbaceous perennial plant that thrives in wet climates and moist soils. It is grown globally in Northern Africa, Europe, Asia and rampantly in the United States.
It can grow up to 6 feet in height and is covered with needle-like hairs that cause a stinging sensation when contacted with skin. That is how the name of this abrasive plant came to be.
